Jean-Pierre Potgieter (JP)
Managing Director and head of the Insurance Investigations & Tracing Department. He completed the Higher Certificate in Criminal Justice (NQF 5) and Comptia A+ N+ Security+ certifications. He has 5 years Paralegal Experience in Delictual claims and understands the needs of a law firm & insurance companies. He is also a Commissioner Of Oaths, making it easier to obtain written affidavits. JP has tracing experience of over 16 years and Insurance Claim Investigations / Assessing and Loss Adjusting experience of almost 10 years.
He completed various training courses and inductions at various insurance companies including Bryte and Santam. His department is proudly serving various insurance companies and mandated brokers/underwriters. He reopened the tracing and basic services department in 2006 and built up a substantial database of debtors. His department now serves over 900 Legal Firms and 10 major insurance companies. He also opened the Insurance Investigations Department as well as the Recoveries Department. His department also proudly served the Miss South Africa pageant for almost 10 years.
Pierre Potgieter (Pottie)
Forensic Director and head of the forensic department. He served 21 years in the SA Police Services of which 17 years was in the Fraud and Commercial Units and left their employ during 2000. He accepted a Forensic Investigation position at Ramathe Fivaz
Forensic & Investigative Accounting Services in 2003 as a Senior Consultant (Senior Forensic Investigator). He served five years with the Company conducting corruption/fraud and theft investigations for in and against the Department of Housing
Gauteng.
He investigated fraud / corruption and theft in and against the city of Matlosana (Klerksdorp) Department of Housing and Municipalities as well as the Department of Health and Department of Public Works, Transport, Sasol, Trafalgar and others.
He assists with more complex forensic investigations and the criminal section of investigations.
